DATA DELETION REQUESTS
Effective Date: August 25, 2026
Last Updated: August 25, 2026
1. PasswordMasters Does Not Use User Accounts
PasswordMasters is operated by ANSUN Software Corporation (“ANSUN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). The current PasswordMasters service does not allow users to create or sign in to PasswordMasters user accounts, and ANSUN does not maintain a central PasswordMasters account database.
Because PasswordMasters does not provide user accounts, there is no PasswordMasters account to delete.
You may still request deletion of personal information that ANSUN directly controls in connection with PasswordMasters, as described below.
2. How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of personal information that ANSUN controls in connection with PasswordMasters, email:
Please use the subject line PasswordMasters Data Deletion Request and include only enough information for us to locate and reasonably verify the records involved, such as:
- the name and email address you previously used when contacting PasswordMasters, if applicable;
- the approximate date of the contact or request, if known; and
- a short description of the information you want deleted.
Do not send passwords, master passwords, encryption keys, recovery secrets, generated passwords, or vault contents in a deletion request.
3. Information ANSUN May Be Able to Delete
Depending on what information exists and can reasonably be identified, a deletion request may apply to personal information that ANSUN directly controls, such as retained support or contact communications containing your name, email address, or message content.
After reasonable verification, ANSUN will delete or otherwise remove personal information it directly controls when required by applicable law and when no legitimate retention exception applies.
4. Password and Vault Information ANSUN Does Not Centrally Hold
PasswordMasters is designed so that password-generation and vault-related secrets remain local to the user’s device. ANSUN does not maintain a central database of:
- generated passwords;
- master passwords;
- decrypted password-history or vault contents;
- encryption keys;
- clipboard contents; or
- imported plaintext vault data.
ANSUN cannot delete information from its servers that it does not possess. Local PasswordMasters data remains under the user’s device, browser, or app-storage controls.
5. Third-Party Services
The current production version of PasswordMasters uses third-party services described in our Privacy Policy, including Google AdSense and Google consent/privacy services, Statcounter, EmailJS, and Have I Been Pwned for the privacy-preserving breach-check process.
Some information processed by those providers may be subject to their own privacy controls, retention rules, contractual obligations, or legal requirements. Where ANSUN can reasonably identify and control information processed on its behalf, we will take appropriate steps in response to a valid request. For information controlled independently by a third-party provider, you may also need to use that provider’s privacy or deletion controls.
6. Information That May Be Retained
Some information may be retained when reasonably necessary for legal obligations, security, fraud-prevention, abuse prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate recordkeeping. We do not state a universal fixed retention period for all legacy third-party systems because the exact historical retention settings for every provider have not been fully verified.
When a retention exception applies, ANSUN will limit retained information to what is reasonably necessary for that purpose.
